Following the instructions of Director General of Police, Haryana Shatrujit Kapoor, under the able leadership of Superintendent of Police Surendra Singh Bhoria, the martyred soldiers of Haryana Police, who sacrificed their lives for the security of the country while faithfully discharging their duty. In memory and honor of such brave martyred police personnel, special programs are being organized from October 21, 2024 to October 31, 2024 to inspire common citizens, school children and police personnel. On October 23, 2024, a special program was organized at Jagadhri Gate in Ambala city to honor the martyrs. The program was attended by dignitaries of Ambala, police band personnel of Second Corps of Haryana Armed Police, officials and employees of Ambala police and common citizens and schoolchildren.
Sub-Inspector Jai Bhagwan, in-charge of police, Chowki No. 3, addressed while recalling the heroic stories of the patriots. Under the leadership of Sub-Inspector Umed Singh, the soldiers of the police band advanced step by step, playing patriotic tunes related to ‘Sare Jahan Se Achcha, Yeh Desh Hai Veer Jawan Ka Ka’, while paying homage to the martyred soldiers, the people present . They were shown the patriotism and duty of martyred soldiers. They were awakened about loyalty and their sacrifices.
