(Jind News) Jind. The nominations for the students’ union elections were organized by the Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University Students’ Election Committee. In which, for the post of principal, student leader Samit Lather filed his nomination from Political Science, Priyanka Kharkramji from Economics, Ajmer Singh from Economics, Ashish Malik from Computer Science and Dharamveer from the Department of Law.
For the post of Deputy Principal, Abhishek Julana filed a nomination from the Library Department and Anchal from the English Department. For the post of Secretary, Naveen filed his nomination from the Department of Economics and Pallavi from the Department of Management. Nomination filed for Navratna Commerce post for the post of Joint Secretary. Elections for these positions will take place on November 13. All candidates who participated in the elections took an oath to participate in peaceful elections and showed their commitment to participate in the elections by following the rules of the committee.
All the candidates submitted their forms writing their vision for the university and there was talk of not spending more than Rs 2,000 in the elections. The committee members Akshay Narwala, Ankit Sihag and Satish asked all the students to participate in this election and termed this election in the interest of the students and sought all possible cooperation from the university administration.
