- Two robbery incidents came to light
(Rewari News) Rewari. Working under the direction of Superintendent of Police Gaurav Rajpurohit, Bawal police station arrested three accused in the company employee robbery case. The arrested accused have been identified as Vinay Kumar, a resident of Jonaycha Khurd village in Kotputli Behrod district of Rajasthan and Yogesh and Hemant, residents of Dhani Todarpur village in Khairthal district of Rajasthan. The police recovered a bicycle used in the crime and Rs 2,000 from the possession of the accused.
The investigator said Yogesh Kumar, a resident of Nahar Kheda village of Khairthal Tijara district of Rajasthan, had said in his complaint that he works in a private company in Bawal. The night of last October 1, he was heading to his town on his bicycle after fulfilling his obligations at the company. When he reached near Pranpura-Pavati dam around 12 midnight, three miscreants riding a bike stopped his bike. They showed him a knife and stole his mobile phone. The criminals forcibly asked him for his password and transferred Rs 3,380 from PhonePe to another account and also took cash from his pocket. After this, the three criminals looted his bicycle and fled. Following which the police launched an investigation by registering a case against the accused under various sections, including robbery at Bawal police station.
After investigation, police arrested three accused involved in the case, Vinay Kumar, resident of Jonaycha Khurd village of Kotputli Bahrod district of Rajasthan and Yogesh and Hemant, residents of Dhani Todarpur village in the district from Khairthal of Rajasthan. The police recovered a bicycle used in the robbery and Rs 2,000 from the possession of the accused. The police brought the accused to court and remanded them for three days for questioning.

During police interrogation, the accused, along with their other associates, also confessed to the incident of stealing a bicycle, mobile phone and cash from a person near Pavati dam on the night of September 28. In this case, the police have registered a case of theft at Bawal police station following the complaint of Omprakash, a resident of Madha village in Khairthal Tijara district of Rajasthan.
