At Government College, Narayangarh under the leadership of Principal Dr. Ajit Singh, Chairperson of Internal Grievance Committee Dr. Seema Rana and Professor Renu Kumari under the Chairpersonship organized a PowerPoint presentation on Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal of sexual harassment in the workplace. by Acting Senior Professor Joga Singh Went.
The goal of the program was to raise awareness among all students and staff about important issues related to harassment in the workplace. The presentation discussed important aspects of how to recognize, prevent and address harassment in the workplace.
Participants were informed of their rights and responsibilities to help create a safe and respectful environment for all. The session placed special emphasis on the harassment reporting process and the support mechanisms available at the institution and also called on students to become aware of their rights.
CEO Joga Singh briefed everyone about the objectives, roles and responsibilities of ICC. Dr. Devendra Dhingra, member of the committee, also shared his views with the students on the related issue.
Dr. Reema Sandhu, Dr. Rajeev Goyal, Dr. Gauri, MP Paramveer Kaur and Sandeep Kumar made important contributions in making the program a success. The program had the active participation of several students, demonstrating the Institute’s commitment to establishing a safe and inclusive work culture.
