Burhanpur: Burhanpur, Madhya Pradesh: A friend has tarnished the friendship relationship. The matter is in the Lalbagh police station area. A woman who lives here has filed a rape case against her husband’s friend. It is alleged that a friend of her husband blackmailed and raped her. The woman alleges that the accused is blackmailing her by recording a rape video and also demands money from her.
They also took away 50 thousand rupees and jewellery.
The victim told police that she got married in 2017. There are no children even after many years of marriage. My husband’s friend lives in the neighborhood where I live. Being a friend of her husband, she met that young man and started talking on the phone. In January 2021, the young accused said that he needed a loan of Rs 50,000 for the necessary work. Trusting him, the woman helped him by giving him Rs 50,000.
He began raping her repeatedly after blackmailing him.
Exactly one month later, the young accused arrived at her house when she was alone. The accused raped her by closing the door of the house. He also took photographs and made a video during this time. The husband’s friend said that if he told anyone he would kill him. Two days later, the young accused returned home and began demanding money and jewelry. When he refused, the young accused threatened to make the photo and video go viral.

Fearing defamation, they handed over the gold jewelery to the accused. Now every time I am alone at home, a young man takes the opportunity to come to my house and rape me without my consent. Meanwhile, when my husband asked me about my jewelry, I told the whole incident to my aunt and mother-in-law. After this, she and her family went to the police station to lodge an FIR against the accused. Following the complaint of the woman victim, Lalbagh police registered a case against the accused under rape extortion section and started investigation. Police said the accused will be arrested soon.
