Ambala News | Ambalá. Deputy commissioner Partha Gupta said the MSME department has started the process of releasing financial assistance in 81 cases for establishment of industries in Ambala. In these cases, the lines of credit have been issued by various financial institutions. 253 people have requested MSMEs to set up industries in this district.

Deputy Commissioner Partha Gupta addressed a meeting of the Prime Minister’s Information on MSME Food Microprocessing Scheme at the Deputy Commissioner’s office on Friday. Earlier, MSME Deputy Director Ritu Singla gave detailed information on awareness programs carried out at the district level under credit linkage subsidy, seed capital for HSG, common infrastructure, marketing and branding capacity building , and the PMFME plan.

Speaking on the progress report of MSME department officials, the deputy commissioner said that out of 253 cases for MSMEs to set up individual industries, 119 cases have been sent to financial institutions for further action. DC said that after giving permission on the proposal of MSMEs, financial institutions have given their consent to grant loans in 81 cases.

Of these, 24 cases have been rejected and the process of releasing financial assistance in 14 cases is being handled by the financial institutions. However, in 79 cases the loans were also granted by financial institutions.

He said officials of the MSME department should organize camps from time to time to make people aware of the government schemes so that people can know about them and take advantage of them to establish their industries.

He said the target of resolving 220 cases in the year 2024-25 has been assigned to the MSME department. So far, 63 people have submitted their applications for this. He ordered that immediate action be taken on all pending files.

Apart from this, all departments must make people aware about the schemes of their respective departments so that they can take advantage of them and become self-reliant. On this occasion, Zilla Parishad CEO Gagandeep Singh, DDA Dr Jaswinder Saini, DHO Dr Virendra, NABARD DDM Ritu Verma etc. were present.
