Apple offered call recording feature to iPhone users.
Apple iPhones fall into the category of premium smartphones. iPhones are known for their superior build quality and strong security features. Apple has also provided Apple Intelligence features on some select models with the new operating system update. The call recording feature was not available on Apple iPhones until now, but now Apple has made this feature available through Apple Intelligence. After the new update, users also started getting the option of call recording and transcription.
Android users have always been proud to have the call recording feature, but now this feature has come to iPhone users as well. Since Apple launched the iPhone, the call recording feature was not present. After waiting for many years, the company finally made this feature available. After iOS 18.1 update, now users started seeing call recording option during calls.
This way you can record calls on iPhone
- To use call recording, you must first dial or receive a call.
- After dialing the call, you will have the option to record the call at the top left.
- As soon as you tap on this white option, the call recording will start.
- However, you should note that as soon as you record the call, there will be an announcement that the call is being recorded.
- This announcement will be heard by both you and the person speaking on the other end of the line.
- As soon as you stop recording the call, the file will be saved on your smartphone.
It is illegal to do this
Let us tell you that in India it is illegal to record the call during a phone call without the other person’s knowledge. Doing so is a violation of Article 21 of the Indian Constitution. If you do this, legal action may be taken against you. Therefore, it is important that if you record a call, you must obtain the other person’s permission.
