Trump’s praise for PM Modi shows his friendship

The friendship between US President-elect Donald Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is very evident and both have praised each other over the years. In fact, Prime Minister Modi was one of the first world leaders to criticize Trump following his decisive victory in the US presidential election.

Both leaders spoke about working together for world peace. Sources said Trump said that everyone loves PM Modi and India is a wonderful country and PM Modi is a wonderful person.

President Trump also told Prime Minister Modi that he considers him and India “true friends.” He said Prime Minister Modi was one of the first world leaders he spoke to after his victory.

Prime Minister Modi congratulated Donald Trump immediately after his victory in the presidential elections and said he looked forward to renewing their cooperation to further strengthen the comprehensive global and strategic partnership between India and the United States.

What did Trump say about PM Modi in recent years?

The relationship between Prime Minister Modi and Trump is characterized by strong diplomatic ties, strategic cooperation and palpable personal warmth.

A statement from the Ministry of External Affairs read: “Reflecting the positive momentum of India-US partnership during President Trump’s first term, the Prime Minister welcomed the ‘Howdy Modi’ event in Houston in September 2019 already President Trump’s visit to India in February 2020. “He recalled their memorable interactions, including the ‘Namaste Trump’ event in Ahmedabad.” Trump recently praised Prime Minister Modi, calling him a “total killer,” describing him as “the kindest human being,” and calling him a “very good friend.” Speaking with hosts Andrew Schultz and Akash Singh on the Flagrant podcast in October, Trump shared his thoughts on several world leaders. He also said India was a “very unstable” country before Modi became Prime Minister.

Trump recently praised Prime Minister Modi, calling him an “absolute killer,” describing him as “the kindest human being,” and calling him a “very good friend.” Speaking with hosts Andrew Schultz and Akash Singh on the Flagrant podcast in October, Trump shared his thoughts on several world leaders. He also said India was a “very unstable” country before Modi became Prime Minister.

He said that when someone “threatens India”, Prime Minister Modi changes completely. “Modi (India), is my friend and also the best person. India was very unstable before he was appointed Prime Minister. On the outside he looks like your father. “He is, at best, a killer through and through,” Trump said.

“He did an event called Howdy, Modi in Houston, Texas. It was me and him and it was beautiful. It was a gathering of about 80,000 people and it seemed crazy. We were going around. Today I may not be able to do any of that,” he shared.

In September, Trump described Prime Minister Modi as a “wonderful guy” when he said he would meet Modi during his visit to the United States.

Even during the Covid-19 pandemic, the two world leaders stood firm for each other.
