Serious train accident averted in West Bengal
A train accident has occurred in West Bengal. In fact, a train met with an accident near Nalpur in Howrah. I was actually coming to Shalimar from Secunderabad. Firecrackers explode on the train
We inform you that a total of four passengers, including a female passenger, were injured in the train explosion. GRP Deputy Superintendent of Police Jagmohan Singh said the injured were admitted to Fatehgarh Sahib government hospital. Preliminary investigations have so far revealed that the explosion was caused by a firecracker kept in a plastic bucket in the general compartment of the train. Eyewitnesses claim that there was smoke in the train car, which caused panic. The passengers began to jump. The train started from Ludhiana and left for Ambala after stopping at Sirhind Junction, so its speed was low.
