There are vacancies for thousands of constable posts in Uttarakhand Police, for which the application process has also been started. Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission i.e. UKSSSC has started the registration process for Uttarakhand District Police Constable (Male) and PAC/IRB Constable (Male) Exam 2024 from 8th November 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for these posts by visiting the official website of UKSSSC sssc.uk.gov.in. The last date to apply is November 29, 2024. Under this recruitment drive, a total of 2,000 police posts will be filled across the state.
UKSSSC Agent Recruitment 2024: What is the selection process?
To be hired for these positions, candidates must pass the exam. The exam will be 2 hours, in which multiple choice objective type questions of 100 points will be asked. This exam will ask questions related to the educational qualification of the position. Each question will have four answer options. Candidates must choose the correct answer from 4 answer options. Please note that a quarter of the marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer given by the candidates, i.e. there will be negative marks in this exam.
To clear the exam, it is mandatory for candidates from General and OBC categories to secure at least 45 per cent marks and candidates from Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe categories to secure at least 35 per cent marks.

However, before the written exam, candidates will have to appear for the Physical Standard Test and the Physical Efficiency Test. Only after succeeding in this, they will be allowed to appear for the written exam. Standard physical test and physical efficiency test include height, chest measurement, cricket ball throw, long jump, penalty and run etc.
UKSSSC Agent Vacancy 2024: What is the application fee?
Candidates from non-reserved/OBC category will have to pay Rs 300 as application fee while candidates from SC/ST/EWS category will have to pay Rs 150 as application fee. Fees must be paid online.
