Fraud in name of Prayagraj Mahakumbh tent city booking, action to be taken against 8 fake websites – Prayagraj Kumbh tent city booking fraud eight list of fake lake websites lclr

While all the preparations are in full swing for the Maha Kumbh to be held in Sangam town, Prayagraj, the case of booking a tent city in Kumbh through a fake website has also come to light . 8 fake websites have been detected doing this, through which devotees are deceived.

To accommodate devotees at Prayagraj, online bookings are made through a fake website. The Department of Tourism has identified eight fake websites that have no trace of the city or the tent colony, but reservations are continuously made on their websites. After getting information in this regard, preparations are already being made to tighten the noose by taking legal action against the fake websites.

40 million devotees will go to Mahakumbh

More than 40 million devotees are expected to attend the Mahakumbh to be held in 2025. The Tourism Department is setting up a tent city at Arrival Jhusi and a train colony at Parade Ground, where devotees will be able to get maximum facilities at low prices.

Fake website claims tent city for Rs 8,000 to Rs 15,000

At the same time, thugs extort money by creating fake websites and forcing people to book at the fair. However, the land has not yet been allocated and the thugs continually reserve the tent city. The reservation has been exposed through a fake website. Fake websites claim to build a tent city near Ulta Qila, where the rent for a colony has been kept at a minimum of Rs 8,000 to Rs 15,000 per day. After the fake website was exposed, Kumbh Mela Officer Vijay Kiran Anand also took this matter seriously and ordered to take legal action against those people promoting fake websites.
