Woman’s body found in Muzaffarnagar
A case has come to light in Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh, which has surprised everyone. In fact, people here were stunned when the body of a 27-year-old woman was found in a car. When people found the woman’s body present in the car, they immediately informed the police. Police reached Rasoolpur village under Khatauli police station area. When the police made the identification, they discovered that the woman had been shot as she had a gunshot wound to her body. Speaking to PTI about this incident, Superintendent of Police (City) Satyanarayan Prajapat said that after receiving information about the incident, a police team reached the spot. The deceased woman has been identified as Himanshi. His bullet-riddled body has been recovered from the car. He said that after his father’s death, Himanshi lived with his mother in his maternal uncle’s house. During this time, when the police investigated further, it was discovered that Himanshi was in a relationship with a young man. We inform you that the woman’s lover has been identified as 28-year-old Vineet Kumar.
Police said: It looks like a case of honor killing.
We told them that the girl’s relatives, including her maternal uncle and his two sons, had also raised objections about their relationship. SP Satyanarayan Prajapat said the body was detained and sent for autopsy. The police are investigating the matter but no case has been registered yet. He said that the body of the deceased was recovered in a field. The male members of the house are absconding and the women of the house are being interrogated. Prima facie it appears that this is a case of honor killing. The police are investigating this matter. However, the truth is that the woman died from a gunshot wound.
