Ambala News | Ambala |On Saturday, a white coat ceremony was organized for the new MBBS class of 2024 at Adesh Medical College, Mohri. Chairman of Aadesh Group, Dr. HS Gill attended as chief guest while Adesh Welfare Society general secretary Kamaldeep Kaur was the special guest and Lamba and Aadesh doctor Dr. Guntas Singh Gill, director Dr. NSMS. Dr. Gurstinder Singh was present as a special guest.
During the ceremony, white coats were presented to 150 graduating medical students. After donning the white coat, the medical students took an oath to perform their duties with devotion. Chief Guest Dr.HS Gill said that for medical students, the meaning of white coat gives a feeling of dedication towards humanity and therefore all medical students should discharge their responsibilities firmly.
Dr. Gill said that the medical field is a marathon in which the race has no end and each student has to learn throughout his life. Dr. Guntas Gill told the medical students that if they move forward by accepting challenges, the moment of success will be empowering and joyful.
He inspired the students to move forward with positive thinking. Principal Dr NS Lamba welcomed the new medical students to the Aadesh family and said that there will be dedication and all types of facilities will be provided to them for the next five years of their training. More than 500 students, parents and teachers participated in the program.
