The Bharatiya Janata Party and Maha Vikas Aghadi on Sunday released their respective manifestos for the Maharashtra Assembly elections. While BJP has promised Rs 2,100 per month for women, Maha Vikas Aghadi has announced Rs 3,000 per month under the ‘Mahalakshmi Scheme’. Both have announced loan waiver to farmers. What’s in BJP’s resolution letter?
Under Ladki Bahin Yojana, women will receive Rs 2,100 per month.
– Loans to farmers will be waived and fees will be increased to Rs 15,000.
– Old-age pension will increase from 1,500 to 2,100 rupees.
– 10 lakh students will receive a monthly support amount of Rs 10,000 and 25 lakh new employment opportunities will be created.
– Anganwadi and Asha workers will receive a monthly honorarium of Rs 15,000.
– Target of creating 50 lakh ‘Lakhpati Didi’ in Maharashtra by 2027.
– Under Akshaya Anna Yojana, poor families will be provided free ration every month.
What is in the manifesto of Maha Vikas Aghadi?
– Under the ‘Mahalakshmi Scheme’, women will receive Rs 3,000 per month.
– Women will have the possibility of traveling for free on buses.
– A gas cylinder will be provided for 500 rupees. You will get 6 cylinders in one year.
– Loans to farmers up to Rs 3 lakh will be waived.
– If we come to power, a caste census will be conducted in Maharashtra.
– Plan to increase reserve limit to more than 50 percent
The elections will be held on November 20
Voting for 288 assembly seats in Maharashtra will be held on November 20 and the results will be announced on November 23. In the last elections, the BJP won 105 seats, Shiv Sena 56, NCP 54 and Congress 44 seats. However, after the elections, the Shiv Sena broke away from the NDA and formed the government with the NCP Congress. Uddhav Thackeray of Shiv Sena became Chief Minister.
There was internal discord in Shiv Sena in June 2022. Following this, Eknath Shinde sacked 40 MPs from the party. Eknath Shinde became Chief Minister with the support of the BJP. Now Shiv Sena is divided into two groups. Sharad Pawar’s NCP has also split into two factions: Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar.
