REET 2025 Notification: There is good news for candidates preparing for teacher recruitment in Rajasthan. Online applications for the Rajasthan Eligibility Test for Teachers (REET) 2025 will begin from December 1, 2024. State Education and Panchayati Raj Minister Madan Dilawar congratulated thousands of youth of the state who are preparing for REET to become teachers.
Actually, REET is an eligibility test for teachers of classes 1 to 5 and classes 6 to 8. Following the instructions of Education Minister Madan Dilawar, applications for REET teacher eligibility test will start from 1 December 2024. The exam will be conducted by the Ajmer Board of Secondary Education in February 2025. The REET exam notification will be published on the official website of Rajasthan Board (RBSE) on November 25, 2024. The Education Minister has given this information on his ‘X’ social network account (formerly Twitter).
The Education Minister wrote in his post, “Good news for candidates preparing for REET – Application process for Rajasthan Eligibility Test for Teachers (REET) will start from December 1, 2024 by the government state under the able leadership of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan. @BhajanlalBjp. This exam will be conducted by Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, Ajmer in February 2025. The detailed communication related to the exam will be issued before November 25, 2024. The exam fee has been fixed same as REET -2022.
Wishing all the best to the candidates preparing for the REET exam, he further wrote in the post, “My heartfelt congratulations to all the candidates appearing in this exam for their bright future and success.”
Rajasthan Eligibility Test of Teachers (REET) 2024 is scheduled to be held on February 25, 2025. Registration for REET 2024 will begin from December 1, state education minister Madan Dilawar announced on the platform of social networks ‘X’. The detailed notification for REET 2024 will be published on the official website of Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) by November 25.
How to apply for REET exam: Check the method here
Step 1: Go to the official website rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in.
Step 2: On the home page, click on the REET Exam link (active since December 1), a new page will open.
Step 3: Now register by clicking on the “REET” app link.
Step 4 – Sign in with the help of the generated credentials.
Step 5: Complete the application form for REET exam.
Step 6: After depositing the fees, click submit.
Step 7: Download the confirmation page, print and keep it with you for future reference.
The REET 2024 exam will be conducted for both Level 1 and Level 2, each with its own exam pattern. The REET Level 1 exam (Classes 1 to 5) consists of five subjects: Languages I and II, Child Development and Pedagogy, Environmental Studies and Mathematics. The difficulty level of this exam is equivalent to Class 10 and candidates will have 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete it.
While the REET Main Level 2 (Class 6 to 8) exam, which is the eligibility test to become a teacher of upper primary classes, will be conducted for 300 marks, which will consist of 150 multiple choice questions (MCQs). The exam will include negative marking, in which 1/3 points will be deducted for each incorrect answer, while candidates will get 2 points for each correct answer.
