Three people died in a tragic accident on the Agra Lucknow Expressway. This accident occurred on Sunday morning in Unnao district. According to the report, a car collided with a parked trailer, in which the three occupants died instantly.
According to the news agency report, police said the accident occurred near Matiyari village around 7:30 in the morning. SHO Chandrakant Mishra of Hasanganj police station said that the deceased have been identified as Sanjay Kumar Singh (50), Gaurav Kumar (35) and Saurabh Kumar (30). The three were heading from Ghaziabad to Gaya in Bihar when their car rear-ended a tractor-trailer parked on the road.
After receiving information about the accident, Uttar Pradesh Expressway Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) staff immediately removed the injured from the car and immediately sent them to Lokbandhu Hospital in Lucknow. However, upon arriving at the hospital, doctors declared that all three had died.
Local police said that in the initial investigation, the reason for the accident could be the high speed of the car and not being able to see the parked truck. Following the incident, the police have started investigating the matter and information about the truck driver is also being collected.
This accident has once again raised concerns about the safety of vehicles traveling at high speed on the highway. Police have appealed to local people and others traveling on the motorway to exercise caution when driving and keep their distance from parked vehicles.
