Haryana is the first state to implement the new education policy
Chandigarh News (Aaj Samaj) Chandigarh: Haryana Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda said that as per the NITI Aayog report, Haryana ranks third in the country in terms of educational level. Our effort will be that Haryana remains first in the educational level. Under this, resources will be increased in public schools and universities gradually. Compared to private educational institutions, the educational level of teachers in public schools in Haryana is much higher. We will make plans so that parents tend to send their children to public schools instead of private schools. Along with this, further improvements will be made in the level of education.

The Education Minister said that Haryana is the first state in the country which has decided to implement the New Education Policy 2020 by the year 2025, while the Government of India has set its target for the states by the year 2030. Apart from This, technical education will also be expanded according to the demand of the industries. To this end, agreements have already been signed with industrial institutions and will be expanded in the future. He said that the education department is an important department. Chief Minister Naib Singh has given him the opportunity to become Education Minister.

More new sports nurseries will open in schools

Emhipal Dhanda said that he will fulfill the responsibility given to him by the Chief Minister and also improve the standard of education. He will soon hold a review meeting with the officials of the departments of School Education, Secondary Education and Higher Education and Technical Education and after understanding the functioning of the entire department, a future scheme will be drawn up. He said Haryana is a leader in sports. To encourage young people to take an interest in sports from school level, more new sports nurseries will be opened in schools, so that emerging sports talents can get the right platform from the beginning.
