Terrorist attack in Türkiye: Türkiye has attacked two neighboring Islamic countries in response to Wednesday’s horrific terrorist attack in the capital Ankara. Türkiye has carried out airstrikes in neighboring Syria and Iraq. Two terrorists are said to have been killed in the airstrikes carried out by Türkiye. In a statement issued by the Turkish Defense Ministry, it was said that a total of 30 terrorist hideouts were destroyed by airstrikes.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated regarding the attack on the aerospace and defense company ‘Tusas’ that the culprits will not be spared. Shortly after the president’s statement, Türkiye launched airstrikes against Syria and Iraq. No organization has yet claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack in Türkiye, but it is suspected to have been carried out by Kurdish terrorists active in Iraq and Syria.

Meanwhile, Turkish media said that three attackers, including a woman, had arrived in a taxi at the entrance to the campus of the aerospace and defense company ‘Tusas’. The attackers had weapons to attack. They detonated an explosive device near the taxi, creating chaos and entering the premises. After this, Turkish security forces arrived at the scene after which gunshots were heard. The situation is currently under control after Turkish security forces attacked the company located on the outskirts of the capital, Ankara.
