Non-local workers leaving Kashmir
Recently a major terrorist attack took place in Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir. In a week, eight non-locals, including a Kashmiri doctor, were shot dead in three terror attacks. Due to these continuous terrorist incidents, non-local people working in Kashmir are returning home from Kashmir due to fear and panic.

On Thursday, many non-local workers were seen at the Naugam railway station in Srinagar along with their families and friends. Speaking to India TV, non-local workers waiting for the train said they would return to their homes. The situation here is getting worse.

We reported that on Thursday morning a terrorist attacked a stranger in Tral. The villagers who are not locals are scared. A large number of non-local people from many districts of Kashmir are leaving their jobs and returning early. However, in the Unified Command meeting on Thursday, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha issued orders to all security agencies to ensure safety of all non-locals working in Kashmir.
90 percent of the workers are from outside.
It is known that many big projects are being carried out in Kashmir. 90 percent of the people who work there are not locals. In such a situation, if these terrorist attacks are not stopped in time, the work of development projects could also be affected.
