There has already been a lot of politics regarding AIIMS in Darbhanga. The Central Government had approved it in 2019-20, but due to the struggle between the State and the Central Government, the foundation stone could not be laid. The Center accused the State Government of not allocating the land, while the State Government alleged that the Central Government was not finalizing the land due to political issues. Now, after five years of approval, the Prime Minister will lay the first stone tomorrow, Wednesday. .
Railway line was also inaugurated
Prime Minister Modi will also inaugurate the Darbhanga bypass railway line during his visit. The trains will start running after the inauguration of this railway line built at a cost of Rs 389 million. Before the PM’s inauguration, MP Dr Gopalji Thakur inspected the railway station. Apart from these projects, the Prime Minister will also inaugurate the Prime Minister Jan Aushadhi Kendra at Samastipur Junction through video conferencing.
