(Panipat News) Panipat. An internal short theater competition was organized at Dr. MKKArya Model School. Students from classes VI to VIII participated in this competition. In this drama the message of social problems and their improvement was given.
The students of Aastha, Ahimsa, Nishtha and Shakti Sadan displayed amazing acting skills on the themes of Smartphone Addiction – An Invisible Epidemic, Environment Protection and Corruption – A Problem – Jaise karni waise bharani respectively. He used a variety of props to make his play interesting and expressive.
Through the skit ‘Smartphone Addiction: An Invisible Epidemic’, Aastha Sadan students demonstrated that smartphone addiction is a condition where a person uses the smartphone so much that it starts affecting his or her life negatively. This addiction can have a negative impact on a person’s physical and mental health, social relationships, and daily activities. Ahimsa Sadan students gave the message of “Environmental Safety”. He said that we should take care of cleanliness around us and plant more and more trees. Nishtha Sadan students presented a short play on the topic ‘Corruption is a problem’.
Through which the enormous form of corruption that spreads in society was shown and the message was given to end corruption. Shakti Sadan students gave the message of serving and respecting elders through the short drama ‘Jaisi Karni Vaisi Bharni’. School principal Madhup Parasar, educational consultant Ms. Manju Setia and Ms. Anjali said that participation in drama increases the self-confidence and self-esteem of the students. When they perform in front of an audience or participate in group activities, they develop a sense of accomplishment and overcome stage fright. Drama education allows students to express themselves authentically and find their voice, increasing their overall self-confidence.
