Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke at a public meeting in Borivali, Mumbai on Tuesday. He targeted the Congress and leader of the opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi. Amit Shah said Rahul Gandhi and the Congress have insulted Babasaheb by falsifying the Constitution. The people of the state are going to clean up the anti-reservation MVA.
Amit Shah said: ‘I have been in politics for a long time. But I have never seen a political experiment like the one Congress has done. Sonia ji tried to get Rahul more than 20 times but failed every time. Sonia ji, it is certain that you will also fail for the 21st time.
‘A bill to amend the Waqf law will be passed soon’
He said, ‘Karnataka Waqf Board has transferred the lands of farmers, villages and ancient temples to Waqf properties and no one can stop them. This will not be possible here, because Modi ji has proposed changes in the Waqf Board law. Aghadi is against this change, but the bill to amend the law relating to the Waqf Board will soon be passed in Parliament.
The Home Minister said, ‘For decades there was a demand to give elite language status to the Marathi language. Sharad Pawar ji, you were a minister at the Center for 10 years and also Chief Minister of the state, what did you do? Well, he didn’t, but our Modi ji honored Maharashtra by giving Marathi the status of an elite language.
‘MVA will not fulfill its promises even in Maharashtra’
He said, ‘Just a few days ago, I presented the BJP manifesto before the people of the state and on the same day, Kharge ji presented the Maha Vikas Aghadi manifesto before the people. A few days earlier, Kharge ji advised the Congress to make promises that could be kept. Because the promises made by the Congress in Karnataka, Himachal and Telangana were not fulfilled. The promises made by Aghadi in Maharashtra will also not be fulfilled.
