The registration deadline for the Prime Minister’s Internship Program 2024 has been extended. The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has set November 15 as the last date for registration. Interested candidates can apply for internship positions by visiting their official website pminternship.mca.gov.in.

A note on the official website reads: “The last date of application has been extended to November 15. Take advantage of this opportunity to shape your future. We recommend that you periodically monitor the portal, email and telephone for updates. There is no registration or registration application fee.

PM Internship Program 2024: Who can apply?

  • Candidates who want to apply for the PM Internship Program must be between 21 and 24 years of age.
  • The candidate must have completed senior secondary school or at least secondary school.
  • Diploma from Polytechnic Institute, ITI certificate or degree like B.Sc, B.Com, BA, BCA, BBA or B. Pharma is required.

PM Internship Program 2024: How to Apply?

  • First of all, go to the official website of PM Internship Scheme pminternship.mca.gov.in.
  • Then click on the ‘Sign Up’ link on the home page and enter the required details.
  • Once the information is submitted, the system will automatically create your resume using the data entered by you.
  • After this, submit applications for up to five internships mentioning your sector, location and qualifications.
  • After submitting your application, download the confirmation page for your records.

According to the PM 2024 Internship Programme, there are 80 thousand internship positions available across 24 sectors. Renowned companies like Mahindra & Mahindra, L&T, Tata Group and Jubilant Foodworks have participated in this plan. The scheme, which supports the career development of young people, is expected to help 10 million people over the next five years.

During the internship period, the intern will receive a stipend of Rs 5,000 every month. In this case, the company will donate Rs 500 through its CSR fund, while the government will pay Rs 4,500. Under this scheme, reservation rules for Other Backward Classes (OBC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Scheduled Castes (SC) will also be followed.
