‘Muslims are not in danger, everything is fine’, again the controversy over Vikrant Massey’s statement – Muslims are not in danger, says Actor Vikrant Massey provokes controversy before the publication of the Sabarmati Report tmovp

Bollywood actor Vikrant Massey is in constant discussion about his new film ‘The Sabarmati Report’. These days Vikrant is busy promoting his film. Recently the actor gave some statements about the Muslim community in the country, which is why he has entered into controversy. During an interview, Vikrant said that Muslims are not in danger in our country, everything is fine. There has been a huge stir on social media over this statement by the actor.

Vikrant Massey entered into controversy

In a YouTube show, Vikrant Massey was asked: ‘Did anyone tell you that Vikrant, you were secular and now you too join that Hindu fanatic group? From being critical of the BJP, he is now accused of being a friend of the BJP. In response to this, the actor said: ‘The things that seemed bad to me aren’t actually bad. People say Muslims are in danger. Nobody is in danger, everything is fine. That’s why I say today that I have changed in the last 10 years.

Vikrant is receiving threats

A few days ago the trailer of the film ‘The Sabarmati Report’ was released. During the trailer launch event in Mumbai, Vikrant Massey said that he was receiving threats. They asked him if he had received threats for working on the film. On this, Vikrant Massey had said, ‘Have I received threats? Haven’t you hacked my phone and my Instagram? Yes, no one asked me this. I haven’t said it yet because no one has asked me.

He further said: ‘Yes, she has come and more will come. But like I said, we are artists and we tell stories and what people say, what they feel. In this film, I want to make it clear to you once again from Ekta’s point of view that this film is completely based on facts. Unfortunately, if you haven’t seen this movie yet, then you shouldn’t think that it only talks about one aspect. Throughout the three-minute video, the fourth pillar of our democracy is the media, their contribution, what their stance was, what their reaction was. Added to this is what happened on February 27, 2002.

Vikrant finally said, ‘I am dealing with these (threats). We face this as a team and it seems that we will also do so in the near future.

Ekta Kapoor said this about religion

During the event, the film’s producer Ekta Kapoor was asked if she had discussed it with Prime Minister Narendra Modi while making the film, because when this accident happened in 2002, Modi was the Chief Minister of Gujarat. Ekta had made it clear that she had not sought support from Modi or anyone in the government for this project. She said: ‘I am not associated with any wing. For me this is just the truth.

Apart from this, Ekta Kapoor also made it clear that she is not targeting any religion with her film. He said, “I am a Hindu, which means I am a secular person.” I will never comment on any religion because I am a Hindu. Furthermore, when asked about censorship, Ekta Kapoor also said that she is not afraid of anyone.

The movie ‘The Sabarmati Report’ will release in theaters on November 15. It was made by director Dheeraj Sarna and produced by Ekta Kapoor. Riddhi Dogra and Raashi Khanna will play important roles in the film with Vikrant Massey.
