Veteran actor Boman Irani has won the Best Male Actor award in the feature film category at the Toronto International Film Festival of South Asia (IFFSA) 2024. Boman has received the award for his performance in his recently released ‘The Mehta Boys’ . He gave this information by sharing a post on his Instagram. IFFSA 2024 also shared the update about this year’s winner on its social media.
Boman Irani received the Best Actor award
IFFSA Toronto shared Boman Irani’s post and wrote: ‘Boman Irani Award for Best Male Feature Film Actor – The Mehta Boys.’ Boman is a very brilliant actor who has managed to win the hearts of the audience with every character he plays. ‘The Mehta Boys’ is Boman Irani’s first film as a director and recently this film was also screened at the Chicago South Asian Film Festival.

In the film ‘The Mehta Boys’, Boman plays the role of a father who struggles with the emotional ups and downs of his relationship with his son. Artists like Avinash Tiwari and Shreya Choudhary were present at this festival. Also present were co-writer Alex Dinelaris and producers Danesh Irani of Irani Movietone and Anikta Batra of Chuckbold Limited. The film will premiere on Amazon Prime Video.
