Deir al-Balah: The Israeli army has launched a devastating airstrike on Gaza. In this airstrike, 46 people were killed in the Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours. Medical officials in Gaza said an area of the territory, which Israel has declared a humanitarian zone, was also attacked. Of the 46 people who lost their lives in Gaza, 11 were present in a makeshift cafeteria in this area. In Lebanon on Tuesday, fighter jets attacked the southern suburbs of Beirut and killed 33 people in other parts of the country.
The latest Israeli bombardment comes as the United States has said it will not reduce its military aid to Israel even after the deadline to send more humanitarian aid to Gaza has passed. Large explosions were heard in the southern suburbs of Beirut, Lebanon’s capital. This area is known as Dahiyah and Hezbollah is believed to have a presence here. Previously, the Israeli army had warned to evacuate 11 houses there. No immediate information was provided on the number of victims.

Officials at Nasir Hospital in Gaza said at least 11 people, including two children, were killed in the cafeteria attack. An attack on a house in the northern Gaza town of Beit Hanoun killed 15 people on Tuesday, according to officials, including relatives of Al Jazeera journalist Hossam Shabat, who was reporting from the north. Hossam Abu Safiya, director of Kamal Adwan hospital, said Mohammad Shabat, who worked as a doctor, his wife Dima and daughter Eliya were killed in the attack.
