In the first seven months (April-October) of the current financial year, Apple reached the figure of 60,000 million rupees, that is, about 7,000 million dollars from exports.

After the introduction of the Indian Government’s Production Linked Incentive Scheme, Apple moved manufacturing to India. Apple began manufacturing the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max locally in October 2024.

After this, now Apple is exporting not only the iPhone 14, iPhone 15 and iPhone 16 from India, but for the first time, the Pro and Pro Max models are also exported. The Pro and Pro Max models cost 1.5 to 2 times more in dollars than other models.

According to industry experts, Apple could move its global iPhone unit to India by 2026. Market research firm Cyber ​​Media Research i.e. CMR said that in the July-September quarter, the tablet market of the Indian market increased by 46 percent annually.

Apple’s iPad leads in this segment with a 34 percent share. If reports are to be believed, lashes priced between Rs 20,000 and Rs 30,000 have seen a growth of 108 per cent annually.

Samsung and Vivo’s share has reportedly decreased, while on the other hand, Oppo has benefited the most. Last year, the share of 5G smartphones was 57 percent, and now it has increased to 83 percent. But the thing to note here is that the average selling price of 5G smartphones has decreased by 20 percent annually to around Rs 24,600.
