Sao Paulo: A surprising case has come to light from Brazil. Here, a person who failed to enter the Supreme Court committed suicide by detonating himself outside the building. Brazil’s Supreme Court said in a statement that two loud explosions were heard around 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, after the session ended. After the explosions, all judges and staff left the building safely.
The explosive was first placed in the Parliament parking lot.
Firefighters have confirmed that one person has died at the scene in Brazil’s capital, although the victim has not been identified. Selina Leo, deputy governor of Brazil’s Federal District, said the suspect had previously detonated an explosive device in a car in the parliament parking lot, causing no injuries. According to ‘Speaker’ Arthur Lira, LEO suggested closing Parliament on Thursday to avoid risks. The Brazilian Senate agreed to his request and the lower house will remain closed until noon.
