Naresh Meena is contesting as an independent candidate from Deoli-Uniara assembly seat. He has accused the SDM of voting fraudulently. Supreme Court lawyer Ashish Pandey says section 132 of the Indian Judicial Code deals with the offense where a person uses criminal force against a government official, especially when he is doing his job.

If a person attacks a public official or uses criminal force against him with the intention of preventing him from carrying out his duty, he may be punished. Under this section, the guilty person can be punished with imprisonment of up to two years, fine or both.
Before the Indian Judicial Code, their cases were registered in the IPC under section 195(1). According to this article, if any person assaults or uses criminal force against a public servant, especially while performing his duty, such as breaking up an illegal assembly, preventing a riot, or if the fight ends, the guilty party will be punished.
For this offence, the guilty person can be sentenced to imprisonment for up to three years and a fine of Rs 25,000 may be imposed. Through this provision, public servants have been given the right to perform their duties without any hindrance.
