Prime Minister Modi said that Balasaheb Thackeray raised the demand to give this name to Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, entire Maharashtra knows it. The Aghadi government was in power for two and a half years, but under pressure from the Congress, these people did not have the courage. As soon as the Mahayuti government came to power, the city was renamed Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar. We fulfilled the wish of Balasaheb Thackeray.
People backed by Congress had gone to court
Prime Minister Modi said Congress and Aghadi people suffered the most when Aurangabad was converted into Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar. His parents went to court to overturn this decision. Maharashtra has to lead the vision of a developed India. BJP and Mahayuti are working on this resolution. Modern infrastructure is being built in Maharashtra. Today the Samriddhi Highway passes through Sambhaji Nagar. It is directly connected to Marathwada, Vidarbha and Mumbai.

Congress and Aghadi remained inactive
The Prime Minister said that along with this great sacrifice of development in Maharashtra, our government is also performing the heritage ritual. For the convenience of the devotees of Lord Vitthal, we have constructed the Palki Expressway. The Aghadi people have done nothing but add to the problems of Maharashtra. There has been a water crisis in Marathwada for a long time, but the Congress and Aghadi always remained inactive. For the first time in our government, concrete efforts against drought were initiated.
