(Bhiwani News) Loharu. On Thursday, the local Ch. History Department of Bansilal Government College organized a program in honor of the students who qualified JRF and NET. In the program organized under the chairmanship of Principal Dr. Mukesh Kumar Chahal, in the recently declared UGC JRF and NET exam results, Manjeet, who passed the JRF exam, and Somendra, an alumnus of the university who passed the NET exam , were honored with certificates of excellence.
Dr Sukhveer Singh, head of the Department of History of the university, said that the master’s classes in History had started in the university from 2022. The first batch of master’s degree was passed in the university this year, the results of which in the exams have been very commendable. Manjeet, a first batch student of the university, brought glory to the university by clearing the Junior Research Scholarship exam conducted by the University Grants Commission in his first attempt in the June 2024 exam. Along with this, Somendra , a former student of the university, passed the National Eligibility Test for the qualification of Assistant Professor of the University Grants Commission in the same exam.
The History Council, formed by the History Department of the university with the objective of encouraging students to undertake research and other competitive examinations, organized a program in this regard and honored the students by awarding them excellent certificates. In the program organized on this occasion, Principal Dr. Mukesh Kumar Chahal, Head of History Department Dr. Sukhveer Singh, Professor Anirudh Poonia, Dr. Poonam, Rajendra, Dr. Sandeep Bhardwaj, Professor Anirudh Poonia , Dr. Umed Singh Jangra and Junior Librarian. Pinky was present. All officers, council members, and all students from the history department were present.
