To warn you about these fake news, we bring you a fact check. The latest case of fake news is related to Rahul Gandhi’s T-shirt. Voting for the Wayanad Lok Sabha by-election is taking place today. Meanwhile, a picture of Rahul Gandhi is becoming increasingly viral on social media. In the picture, Rahul Gandhi is wearing a white T-shirt and it is written in English: “I like the hate shop.” By sharing this photo, it is claimed that he wore this shirt while campaigning in Wayanad.
When we investigated it, we discovered that the viral claim is false. The image of the viral t-shirt is edited. In the original image, “I Love Wayanad” is written on the t-shirt, which has been edited and is now going viral with false claims.

To know the truth of the viral claim, we searched on Google with the help of related keywords. We found the original image on the official account X of Congress. The photo was shared on November 11, 2024. Real image But “I love Wayanad” is written. In the caption, the image is described as a protest in Wayanad.
Continuing with the investigation, we began to search for the video of this demonstration. we meet Video Found on Congress’ official YouTube page on November 11, 2024. According to available information, Rahul Gandhi had arrived in Wayanad, Kerala, to hold a rally and road show for his sister Priyanka. During this time he wore a t-shirt with “I Love Wayanad” written on it. This shirt was the topic of discussion at the road show.
