Mumbai: Former Maharashtra CM and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis said in an exclusive interview to India TV that the way Congress and MVA used vote jihad, they will have to fight a religious war over it. This is an attempt to wake people up.
On the question related to the motto “If you divide, you will be divided”, he said that he completely agrees with Yogi Adityanath ji. Fadnavis said, “If any society is divided, it will come to an end.” History has shown us. The Congress has continuously tried to divide the castes so that they continue to fight among themselves. Therefore, if someone says that if you divide you will be divided. So what’s wrong with this? Yes, the motto given by our Prime Minister can be called more positively: Ek hai toh safe hai. Fadnavis alleged that the Congress Party wants to divide the country on Hindu-Muslim basis. It has been adopting the policy of appeasement. He said: Our policy is justice for all and approval for none.

On the issue of Maratha reservation, he said, “The fight for Maratha reservation started in 1980. Devendra Fadnavis gave the first reservation to Marathas. While Devendra Fajdanvis was Chief Minister, the High Court also validated that reservation. Reservation continues 10 per cent for Marathas in Maharashtra.
If someone does wrong then you won’t leave.
On the issue of madrassas, Fadnavis said that we did not close madrassas. He said: ‘If jihadists are trained in madrassas, then there is no reason to allow them to act. We try to provide math and science education along with religious education. We clearly believe that a Muslim living in India is also an Indian. We just want to say that Muslims here should also live the same way as common Indians. They should also be developed. We are not against Muslims but against appeasement. We have not done injustice to Muslims but yes, if someone does something wrong, we will not leave.
