The third and final match of the 3-match Test series between Pakistan and England will be played in Rawalpindi. In the first match, England registered a resounding victory, while in the second test, Pakistan staged a tremendous counterattack and leveled the series. Now a fierce battle is going on between the two teams in the third test. The third test match began on 24 October in which on the first day Pakistani players bowled brilliantly and bowled out England for 267 runs in the first innings.
Pakistan gave a chance to five bowlers in their playing eleven for the third Test. Only one fast bowler was included in these. The limit was reached when this fast bowler did not get a chance to bowl a single over. Thus, for the first time in the 72-year history of Pakistan cricket, a unique feat was experienced.

Actually, four spinners Sajid Khan, Noman Ali, Zahid Mahmood and Agha Salman played for Pakistan on the first day. In these, Sajid Khan took 6 wickets and Noman Ali took 3 wickets, while one hit went to Zahid Mahmood. Agha Salman was unable to open his account. After New Zealand were reduced to 267 runs, Pakistan’s first pair took the field. Abdullah Shafiq and Sam Ayub started the innings. In fact, this was the first time in 11 Test innings that there was as many a run partnership between the two. From this one can estimate how bad the performance of this Pakistan opening pair is in Tests. However, this time too the pair could not do anything special and could only add 35 runs for the first wicket. This partnership was broken as soon as Abdullah Shafiq got out in the 10th over.
