terrorist arsh dalla
The Indian government will hold talks with the Canadian government for the extradition of Arsh Singh Gill alias Arsh Dalla, the de facto chief of Khalistan Tiger Force. Canadian police arrested Dalla late last month. The Indian government had declared Dalla a terrorist in the year 2023. In July 2023, India had requested his arrest from the Canadian government.
Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said on Thursday that in view of the recent arrest, our agencies will proceed with the extradition request.
He said that given Arsh Dalla’s criminal record in India and his involvement in similar illegal activities in Canada, he is expected to be extradited or deported to face justice in India.

Jaiswal said that since November 10, they have seen news circulating in the media about the arrest in Canada of avowed criminal Arsh Singh Gill, alias the real chief of Khalistan Tiger Force. He said Canada’s print and visual media have widely reported the arrest. We understand that the Ontario Court has listed the matter for hearing.
Jaiswal said Arsh Dalla is a proclaimed criminal in more than 50 cases of murder, extortion, attempt to murder and terrorist activities, which also include terror financing. A red corner notice was issued against him in May 2022.
