New Delhi: Metro services will be affected on a portion of the Delhi Metro Yellow Line from November 14 to 19. According to Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), Yellow Line metro services will be temporarily affected from the night of November 14 to 19 due to civil works on the 490 meter long stretch from Janakpuri West to RKAshram. Metro services will be affected by the construction works of the 490 meter long section.
Three metro stations will also remain closed
DMRC tweeted on its official site Apart from this, three stations (Samaypur Badli, Rohini Sector 18-19 and Haiderpur Badli Mor) will remain closed till 7.02 am until service is restored.
Metro will circulate without interruptions on the rest of the Yellow Line
However, metro services on the remaining sections of the Yellow Line from Jahangirpuri to Gurugram’s Millennium City Center will continue to operate uninterrupted during this period. He said to reduce inconvenience, announcements will be made at stations and inside the subway, providing passengers with information about the train’s destination and platform.
Delhi Metro said DMRC always prioritizes passenger comfort during challenging engineering projects that involve traversing up and down operational corridors. These construction projects are carefully planned at night, within a limited time period after passenger services almost end, and are completed when passenger services begin the next day.
