Two people were killed and dozens injured in road accidents on Thursday due to dense fog in Muzaffarnagar, Etawah and Mathura districts of Uttar Pradesh. According to the police, many people have been injured in these accidents due to low visibility.

The first incident took place in Ratanpuri area of ​​Muzaffarnagar district, where a truck fell into the Kali river due to dense fog. One person died in the incident. According to circle officer Gajendra Pal Singh, the deceased has been identified as the driver and the accident occurred due to dense fog.

Two people lost their lives due to the fog

The second accident took place on the Etawah-Kanpur national highway, where an unknown vehicle collided with a three-wheeler loaded with passengers. SHO of Ekadil police station, Etawah, Bhim Singh said that this accident occurred near Birari Ashram, in which Rakesh Kumar Yadav (28), a resident of Paitua village in Auraiya, died on the spot, while the driver of the three-wheeler, Pushpendra was seriously injured and has been admitted to the district hospital.

The incident occurred on the Delhi-Agra highway.

The third incident took place on the Delhi-Agra national highway in Mathura district, where a state transport bus going from Mathura to Delhi collided with a moving truck due to fog. Dozens of passengers were injured in this accident and were treated at the KD Medical College and Hospital. The passengers were later sent to another bus. The incident took place near Chaumuhan, where the truck driver fled after the accident.

According to SHO Ashwini Kumar, the bus also included tourists who were returning after visiting Mathura and Vrindavan. In all these accidents, the drivers had to face difficulties due to low visibility due to dense fog, due to which these accidents occurred.
