The fight in UPPSC is still pending! The government accepted the demand, but why do the candidates remain firm in the strike? – UPPSC protests latest update Yogi govt accepted RO ARO PCS exam demand but candidates still on strike

UPPSC Protest Latest Update: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) accepted the candidates’ demand four days after Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath intervened. The UP RO/ARO exam was postponed and it was decided to conduct UP PCS again as per the previous pattern. The Commission has officially confirmed this by publishing a notice on its website. Despite this, the fight between the candidates continues in Prayagraj. Even after the government’s decision, candidates are protesting in front of the UPPSC headquarters located in Prayagraj.

Why protest even after the Commission’s decision?

Candidates believe that the government has made one shift a day for PCS exam, but has asked to form a committee on RO/ARO exam, now what kind of committee it will be and whether the exam will be conducted in one shift or not. It’s still not clear. Candidates say that the government should first approve when the RO/ARO exam will be conducted? And what will the committee decide? Until then the protest will continue like this.

What did the Commission say in the communication?

For now, the Commission has informed about the postponement of the RO/ARO exam and the formation of a committee. The communication issued states that taking into account the number of 10,76,004 candidates, the Commission has constituted a committee to investigate and analyze all the facts with the objective of carrying out the selection process in a transparent, clean and quality manner. . Which will consider all aspects and present its detailed report as soon as possible.

When will the candidates’ protest end?

No information has been provided in this notice regarding when the RO/ARO exam will be held, whether the exam will be “one day, one shift” and whether standardization will be implemented or not. The candidates were protesting these demands for the last four days. The Commission has only reported on the postponement of the examination and the formation of an analysis commission. That is why the candidate is not willing to withdraw from the protest until these things are clarified.

Let us tell you that the number of candidates for Review Officer (RO) / Assistant Review Officer (ARO) is more as compared to PCS exam. Around 11 lakh (10,76,004) candidates are expected to appear in this exam. RO/ARO candidates along with PCS candidates have made this movement much bigger. However, among them there are also candidates who have applied for both exams. The candidates consider that the Commission’s decision is incomplete.
