Following the refusal of the Congress, the Samajwadi Party (SP), which is part of the “India” alliance, has announced the names of the candidates for the 9 seats. The party announced the names of candidates for the remaining three seats on Thursday. The Samajwadi Party said in a statement that it announced the names of candidates for Ghaziabad, Khair and Kundarki assembly seats on Thursday. No election for Milkipur seat

The Election Commission has announced by-elections for 9 seats, except Milkipur seat in Ayodhya, due to a pending court case. The last date to submit nominations is October 25. Voting for the by-election will take place on November 13 and the results will be announced on November 23.
