Intelligence agencies alerted, the army and police increased patrols
Pathankot Crime News (Aaj Samaj), Pathankot: Intelligence agencies have once again made a big revelation about the border with Pakistan in Pathankot, Punjab. Following the alert from intelligence agencies, the Army, BSF and local police have been put on alert and patrols and surveillance have been increased along the border and in the areas adjacent to the border.
In fact, Pathankot, bordering Pakistan, has always been very important from a security point of view. There are many areas here from where infiltration can easily occur from Pakistan side. This is the reason why suspicious people have been seen here many times. That’s why the security forces here are always prepared.

Now this danger lurks here on the border.
According to intelligence reports, there is information about the presence of 4 or 5 terrorists of the Jaish-e-Mohammed group in Ikhlaspur, an area bordering Pakistan and adjacent to Pathankot. There is a possibility of terrorists infiltrating from Bamiyal sector amid fog and low water level in Ujj Darya. Following this alert, the Pathankot border area has been sealed.
According to sources, army personnel also carried out a search operation near Uj Darya on Thursday night. Security agencies said in the message that in the next 24 to 48 hours, terrorists may enter Punjab through Jalala Sharif check post (in Pakistan) or Bamiyal sector near the Pakistan border.
