Independent candidate Naresh Meena, who slapped SDM Amit Chaudhary in Deoli-Uniara of Tonk district in Rajasthan, was arrested by the police on Thursday from his village. After his arrest, Naresh Meena was kept in Piplu police station.
Meanwhile, a photo of Naresh Meena has surfaced in which he can be seen sleeping in the cell. It is seen in the picture that Naresh Meena is behind the bars of the jail and is lying on the floor and sleeping soundly. On Thursday itself, the police entered the village with a strong police force and arrested Naresh and around 50 of his supporters.
200 officers reached the Chief Minister’s residence to protest the slap incident. These Rajasthan Administrative Service officials have demanded strict action against Naresh Meena for slapping SDM Amit Chaudhary. There are a total of 23 cases against Naresh Meena in which action is yet to be taken in five of them. This does not include cases that are pending after the slapping incident.
The arrest was carried out with great force.
