Famous Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh is in news again. Given their live shows and the current controversies in this regard, the Telangana government is on alert. Singer’s concert will be held in Hyderabad on November 15. The Telangana government has issued a notice to the event organizers in this regard.
Notice sent to Diljit
According to the notice, keeping health in mind, children have been asked to stop being brought on stage. So they can be protected from high sound levels which are not safe for children according to WHO guidelines. The purpose of these instructions is to protect children from loud music and flashing lights during live shows. Apart from this, Diljit is prohibited from singing songs on stage that promote alcohol, drugs and violence.
According to WHO guidelines, adults should not be exposed to sound pressure higher than 140 dB. While for children this level is reduced to 120 dB. Therefore, children should not be brought on stage during live shows because the sound level on stage is higher than 120 dB. The notice has presented video evidence of Diljit’s old concerts where songs promoting alcohol and drugs were sung. Like Patiala Peg, Panj Tara… Diljit has sung at the Dil-Lumnati concert held at the Jawaharlal stadium in Delhi.

There has been a heated controversy regarding Diljit’s concert for the past few months. Diljit’s live show was held on October 26 and 27 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi. But once the event was over, the dirt spread in the stadium surprised everyone. There was a lot of garbage there. Bottles of liquor and water were thrown here and there. Rotten food was found lying on the athletics track and broken chairs were seen. The players had to abandon their practice due to dirt.
Videos of this filth had made many headlines on social media. Singer and his team were denounced for mismanagement. Thousands of people gathered at this Diljit concert.
