Delhi News Today (Aaj Samaj), New Delhi. The Aam Aadmi Party has once again got relief in Delhi. While Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia already got relief from the court on alleged corruption charges, the Rouse Avenue Court has now delivered its verdict to free another great Aam Aadmi Party leader and MLA Amanatullah Khan.
The court, while hearing Khan’s case on Thursday, ordered his release. The court ordered his release on a bail of Rs 1 lakh. During this, the court said that there is no evidence against Maryam Siddiqui in the case.

Amanatullah was arrested in this case
The court has given major relief to Okhla Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Amanatullah Khan in the money laundering case related to irregularities in the Delhi Waqf Board. Khan was arrested by the ED on September 2 from his Okhla residence after a long interrogation. Since then he has been in judicial custody.
Amanatullah has challenged his arrest in the money laundering case before the Delhi High Court and the matter is pending before the High Court. Earlier on October 29, the Enforcement Directorate had filed an additional charge sheet against Amanatullah Khan in a money laundering case related to irregularities. Maryam Siddiqui’s name was also included in the 110-page supplementary charge sheet filed by the Education Department. However, Maryam Siddiqui was not arrested as an accused in this case.
