(Mahendragarh News) Mahendragarh. On the occasion of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Prakash Parv, the RPS school family brought out Prabhat Pheri. In the program organized at Prakash Parv, the children organized many programs filled with the message and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev. The students and staff members who participated in Prabhat Pheri were welcomed with a shower of flowers. The program was inaugurated by the group’s president, Dr. Pavitra Rao, while it was chaired by the director, Dr. Kishore Tiwari. Prabhat Pheri was brought out with bhajans and kirtan.

During Prabhat Pheri, kirtans like Lakh Khushiyan Patshaiyaan Je Satguru Nadar Kare, Nimkh Ek Har Naam Dev Mera Man, Tan Sheetal Hoe and Nanak Jag Mahi Path Pathaya, Kal Taran Guru Nanak Aaya were performed. On this occasion, Chief Guest Chairperson Dr. Pavitra Rao, while congratulating the children on Guru Parv, said that Guru Nanak Jayanti is celebrated on Kartik Purnima day. This time this festival is celebrated on Friday. Guru Nanak Jayanti is also known as Prakash Parv.

Guru Nanak Dev, the founder of Sikhism, is a source of inspiration to millions of people. On this occasion, director Dr. Kishore Tiwari said that Guru Nanak Dev had lit the lamp of knowledge by removing ignorance from the society. Guru Nanak Jayanti is also called the festival of light due to the spread of light of knowledge. The diyas are especially lit on this day. At the same time, Dev Diwali also occurs on Kartik Purnima. For this reason also, in the joy of Diwali, lamps are lit at night. On this occasion, Vice Principal Dinesh Kumar, Dean LN Gaur, Pawan Tiwari, Wing Chief Devendra Punia, Jile Singh, Amit Kumar, Preetika Sharma, Anita Ahlawat and all the staff members were present.
