Giving information about this, SP Arsh Verma said that under the leadership of DGP Shatrujit Kapoor, police are very active regarding women’s safety. SP said women traveling in taxis and cars at night can avail the ride tracking facility by calling 112. The police have also launched this facility. To use the facility, the woman will first have to call 112 and register her trip through a web form. After giving all the information the woman’s journey will begin.
After this, the Haryana police personnel will monitor the woman’s journey through GPS. Every half hour a call will be made from the control room to inquire about the woman’s well-being. If the taxi or car stops midway or there is a change in the route, only then will the police call the woman and get information. If something goes wrong, the nearest emergency police vehicle will be dispatched. Apart from this, the emergency number shared by the passenger will also be contacted. Once the woman’s trip has ended safely, police will call and obtain information.
With this facility, the woman’s family members will not have to worry and the woman will not worry about her safety either. Women police officers posted in the district police go from place to place to inform women about travel tracking facilities for women. SP Arsh Verma said that the Dial-112 scheme was started with the objective of curbing crimes and providing immediate assistance to common people in the shortest possible time in case of any emergency. Help can be obtained by calling dial-112 and through the dial-112 application.
In case of emergency, you can get help by dialing 112 by pressing the power button of your mobile phone 3 times or by continuously pressing the power button. In case of emergency, dial 112 and the nearest police ERV will be dispatched for assistance. The police ERV arrives within minutes and provides assistance.
Now women will be safe: SP
SP Arsh Verma said that now women will be able to travel safely whether day or night. He said that it is our utmost duty to protect the daughter or other working women of any family. Under this campaign launched by the Haryana Police, all women and daughters in their family will leave home safely and remain in touch with the police until they reach their destination. He said this is a travel tracking service of Haryana Police that will enable women to secure their travel by connecting them with the police service by dialing 112.
