The BJP is trying hard to woo Muslims in the Uttar Pradesh by-elections. By-elections are being held for 9 seats in the state. These also include the Kundarki assembly headquarters of Moradabad. The number of Muslim voters here is high. On Friday, UP Deputy CM Brijesh Pathak organized the BJP minority conference in Kundarki.
SP considers Muslims its vote bank
On Friday, Deputy CM Brijesh Pathak held a minority conference to emerge victorious from Ramveer Singh. Brijesh Pathak has appealed to the Muslim community to give the BJP a chance. Brijesh Pathak said that the Samajwadi Party simply uses them (Muslims) as a vote bank and forgets them.
SP and Congress always did this
Brijesh Pathak, while speaking on stage, said that he was going to write an example of Hindu-Muslim brotherhood and friendship with this Kundarki. He said Hindus and Muslims will work together for the progress of the country. He will work to eliminate the country’s enemies. The friendship building example will begin in Kundarki. He said SP licks Muslims like bay leaves to make biryani. The SP and Congress have always done this with Muslims.
Muslim children get quality education under BJP government
The deputy CM said, ‘Biryani is not made without you. If you break away from the Samajwadi Party, it will become a thirty-rupee party. SP has considered Muslims as bay leaves. Make BJP win once. We think about our country. Today, under the BJP government, children of the Muslim community are getting quality education.
By-election held in Kundarki seat
Let us tell you that until now Zia ur Rehman Burke of Samajwadi Party was the MLA from Kundarki. Now he has become a deputy. That is why by-elections are held here. The Samajwadi Party has given ticket to Haji Muhammad Rizwan from here. While the BJP has chosen Thakur Ramveer Singh as its candidate.
60 percent of voters are Muslim.
Many people from the Kundarki Muslim community participated in this BJP conference. There are around four lakh voters in Kundarki. Of them, around 2.5 lakh or around 60 per cent of the voters are Muslims. Due to this, the BJP has not been able to win this seat since 1993.
BJP candidate wore Muslim cap
Interestingly, of the 2.5 lakh Muslim voters of Kundarki, around one lakh are pasmanda or backward Muslims. That is why the BJP is trying to woo these voters from the Muslim community. During the election campaign, BJP candidate Ramveer Singh has sometimes been seen wearing a mesh cap and other times an Arab headscarf, which is said to be the hallmark of Muslims.
