Grand Dev Diwali celebration in Varanasi, Ganges river ghats illuminated

The festival of Dev Diwali was celebrated with great pomp on Kartik Purnima in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. Over the past four decades, this event has become a folk festival and holiday. This year, Dev Diwali was grandly celebrated in Varanasi by lighting hundreds of thousands of lamps. Lamps were lit on the Gangetic ghats.
