There is good news for candidates seeking employment in the force. Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF) has announced recruitment for the posts of Sub-Inspector, Head Constable and Constable (Telecom). Candidates who are willing and eligible to apply for this can do so by visiting the official website recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in. Please note that the last date to apply for these posts is December 14, 2024; Interested candidates should apply on or before this date.

How many positions will be hired?

Through this recruitment campaign, a total of 526 vacancies will be filled. In these-

  • Sub-inspector (Telecom): 92 vacancies (78 men and 14 women)
  • Chief of Police (Telecommunications): 383 vacancies (325 men and 58 women)
  • Constable (Telecom): 51 vacancies (44 men and 7 women)

Ten percent of the total vacancies are reserved for ex-servicemen (ESM). ITBP said that if the vacancies reserved for ESM candidates remain vacant due to non-availability of eligible candidates, they will be filled by non-ESM candidates.

How much salary will you receive?

  • For SI posts: ₹35,400-1,12,400 (Level 6)
  • For Police Chief: ₹25,500 to ₹81,100 (Tier 4) and
  • For Constable: Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100 (Tier 3)

What is the application fee?

Candidates applying for this recruitment will be required to pay the application fee. The application fee for SI is Rs 200, Rs 100 for Constable and Head Constable vacancies. Candidates from women, ex-servicemen, SC and ST categories are exempt from paying the application fee. These SI (Group B) and Constable, Chief of Police (Group C) vacancies are open for both male and female candidates. The hiring will be carried out on a temporary basis.
