Some people who were riding bicycles committed the incident. This petrol pump is said to belong to BJP leader Harish Chaudhary. According to his brother Gaurav, an employee was shot. About 20 rounds were fired at the scene. It is not clear which gang the attackers belonged to.

According to the statement issued by the police, a shot was reported at the Mukul diesel petrol pump and one person was injured. At 10:38 p.m., police received information about the shooting through a call. Later, the injured Anshul Rathi was shifted by PCR to GTB Hospital, where he is being treated. Anshul suffered stomach injuries due to the sharp edge of the glass. He has worked as a supervisor for 6 years.

The criminals arrived on two bicycles.

The initial investigation revealed that four people riding two bicycles approached the gas pump and a person sitting behind fired 16 shots at the office cabin from outside. After this, one bike ran towards Gokulpuri and the other towards Loni roundabout. Later, the police team reached the spot and inspected it. The police team has taken the CCTV DVR from the petrol pump and is investigating the matter. According to the police, the target of the attackers was the owner of the petrol pump, Harish Chaudhary. Many cases have also been registered against Harish Chaudhary.

Shots were also fired in another case Thursday night. The shooting took place in the Sultanpuri area on the outskirts of Delhi around 8 pm. The police officer said that a police team acted on the PCR call made by Bijinder, a 45-year-old local resident. Police recovered two cartridges from the scene and it appears that one bullet missed its target, the officer said. Police said the complainant alleged that a group of local boys from Block C came there and one of them started shooting. The reason for the dismissal is believed to be a dispute between two groups.
