‘Andolan UPPSC’ ends in Prayagraj, students now waiting for committee’s decision on RO-ARO exam – Prayagraj UPPSC RO ARO PCS exam protest ends with candidates waiting for committee’s decision for RO ARO exam from a day and a shift

End of protest by UPPSC candidates in Prayagraj: The protest by UPPSC candidates, which lasted for the last five days in Prayagraj, is now over. The police spoke to all the students and sent them home. In addition to this, the barricades outside the Commission gate were also removed and the gate was opened for the Commission and the general public. At the same time, the students also showed signs saying that the protest is ending. Now students are waiting for the commission’s decision for the RO ARO entrance exam. Students say that if this exam decision does not benefit the candidates, they will protest again.

While talking to Aaj Tak, the student said that at the moment we are not on strike, we have given time to the Commission to form a committee. The commission will form a committee for RO and ARO exams, but if we are cheated and the one-day exam is not held, we will protest again. Next time the movement will be greater. The strike ended just a few days ago.

Why were the candidates protesting?

In fact, in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, candidates were protesting against the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission. The reason behind this was the Subordinate Service (PCS) exam and the Assistant Reviewing Officer exam. Due to paper leak, both the exams were canceled and then on November 5, when the Commission issued a notification regarding the date of the exam along with the method of conducting the exam i.e. two-shift exam and standardization, there was anger among the candidates. In this regard, the candidates protested for five days in front of the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission office in Prayagraj. The demand of the students was that the exams be conducted in a clean manner and that the exams be conducted in one day, in one shift so that the normalization process is not implemented.

UPPCS exam will be held on December 22

Following growing anger among candidates, the state government decided that the UPPCS exam will be conducted in one day and in one shift. The exam date has also been announced. As per the Commission notification, the PCS exam will be held on December 22. At the same time, a committee was formed for the RO-A RO exam. This committee will present its report. After this, the final decision will be made on how the exam will be conducted.
